Weld overlaps Merges overlapping or touching shapes (script joins, tight spacing, overlapping glyph parts) into single cut outlines.

Stencil bridges Cuts a gap through the stroke around every enclosed counter (O, A, B, e, 8…) so the centre stays attached when the letters are cut out of a plate. Always welds.
